A reinforced concrete utility trough is constructed on the slope underneath the new bidges to accommodate all existing underground utilities (e.g. electric cables, water pipes, telephone cables and LPG gas pipes) along Pok Fu Lam Road before undertaking improvement works on the road. Diversion of utility services by respective utility undertakers should be arranged appropriately. Temporary support and protection to underground services should be provided if necessary.
